I grew up in a small town in an artistic family, so thinking creatively was always present. I started creating my own movies and plays when I was 10 years old, but it was not until I saw The Lord of the Rings at age 12, I knew I wanted to be a videographer. I realized I could tell stories that transport people to different worlds, times, or perspectives. I wanted audiences to connect with stories outside of their own and learn more about themselves in the process.

        Therefore, I went to college and graduated with a BA in Mass Communications: Broadcasting and Studio Arts minor. After college, I have worked professionally in the video industry for over 10 years. My experiences include working at different video or media companies where I was involved with the whole creative process including: editing, filming, producing, directing, scriptwriting, art directing, and designing graphics. I also worked in an outdoor retailer’s marketing department, where I created photo and film for their website and social media. Currently, I am working as a freelancer, where I specialize in videography, photography, and graphic design.

        With all my previous work experiences, I have been able to grow my skills and techniques. Overall, I am up for trying anything new and constantly challenge myself on getting better in every project I do. I always had the desire to create instead of consume, and I live by that today.
